XXXTentacion mum receives award for the late rapper at the American Music Awards
Csrdi B dropped an epic performance at the 2018 AMA held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018.
Taylor Swift was the biggest winner
at the American Music Awards 2018 as she went home with three awards including “Artist of the year,” rapper Cardi B, who was tied with Drake for the most nominations, and won the first award of the night for favorite rap/hip-hop artist stole the headlines on the night.
The event that took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles had a number of performers that include Swift, Post Malone, Camila Cabello, but it was Cardi’s set with Bad Bunny and J Balvin performing the hit single, “I Like It” that left the audience spellbound.
Cardi dressed in a colouful outfit was electric, dancing and rapping her verse, with Bad Bunny zipping his way on stage in a shopping cart, as the female rapper delivered some well choreographed moves alongside one of her dancers, while her man Offset cheered from the audience.
The night also featured the rap trio Migos as winners of the Favourite Duo/Group in Pop/Rock winning their first AMA’s in a quite confusing category.
